SPECIAL OCCASION: MAY DAY

May Day festivities kick off around England today… or as most of us know it , a welcome 3 day break. Regarded as the beginning of good weather (always hopeful) and understood as a pagan festival where Maypoles get resurrected and Morris dancers takes over the local village green and even the crazy Hobby Horse makes his rounds, we’ll use it as an excuse to celebrate. It is also International Worker’s Day and one that draws out protest from strong minds that need to fight their rights.
